"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you . . ."
Matthew 28:20
Welcome to St. Paul’s Lutheran Preschool in the name of our Lord Jesus!
With you as teacher, your child has already learned to do so many things by
himself. He can walk and run; he can communicate his needs and tell you about
his day. How marvelously he has grown! We look forward to working with you now
to nurture and guide your child as he continues to grow and develop.
We believe that each of us is a unique and very special creation of God. This
great God loved us so much he sent His only Son Jesus to die for us, to take
away all the bad things we have done—or ever will do. This Jesus came alive
again on Easter. Someday those who believe in Jesus will be with Him in Heaven.
We share this message with your child through prayer, songs, and stories, and
also in the way we freely forgive a child who misbehaves—just like Jesus
forgives. In this Christian environment, we pray that we can work with you
effectively to help your child socially, emotionally, physically, mentally, and
spiritually.

SUPPLIES
All children need a school bag to bring back and forth to school. A
paint shirt is also required. All other supplies are provided by the
school.
PHYSICAL EXAMINATION
According to the State of Ohio every child must have a physical
examination within one year of date of admission. All immunizations
are necessary. If a child has not been examined and a form for an exam
from a certified doctor has not been submitted to the school office prior to
entrance, the child will not be allowed to attend until such an exam and
form has been completed.
DISCIPLINE
We believe that children can learn through positive reinforcement and
direction. The teacher of each class is responsible for the discipline of
the children in that class.
TRANSPORTATION
Parents are to provide a way to and from school. All children being
dropped off should be escorted to the classroom and signed in. When
picking your child up, again please meet your child at the door.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
A child's success in preschool depends on cooperation between parents and teachers.
Parents are expected to keep informed of school activities by reading the
classroom and school newsletters and by visiting the classroom after class to
view work on display. Daily communication is also encouraged at arrival
and departure times.
CONCLUSION
Both parents and teacher should strive to do all necessary to provide the
proper atmosphere. The greatest benefits can be achieved through mutual
cooperation and prayer. Christ answers the prayers of His faithful people.
May we join in the fervent prayer that our Lord would grant us His counsel
and blessings in our joint enterprise to bring our children up in the nurture
and admonition of His name.
